I had my simulation today. Basically they had me lie down under a machine that simulates my radio therapy, had me drink some barium and then they marked a grid on my chest. So we're all set to go. Apparently, I to start my treatment early next week. Woo hoo.
Jane, Emma and I are following your progress via your blog and regular reports from Eglington Road. Great that things seem to be moving at last. Will be working on some special menus for when you are able to eat proper food again. Emma v keen on the burger and pizza options!!. All the best Andy

Did they do your grid with texta? That's what they did with mine, leading to an amusing anecdote about a hot tub. Anyway, cheers mate, hope it goes soon.
